Who runs this

LOAM was built by Suman Saurav in India and is kept up to date by a small team of three. It is not a company, a registered charity, or a consultancy. Contact: suman@commsforacause.org.

How the funder pack is put together

Each month the pack is compiled from public material: funders' own websites, strategies, annual reports, published statements and open calls. Every entry carries the source link and the date it was published, and priorities are quoted in the funder's own words rather than paraphrased. Material from individuals' personal social media is excluded. Nothing confidential, leaked or privately shared is included.

Quotations are used for information and comment, with attribution to the source. If you represent a funder and something is wrong or out of date, write and it will be corrected in the next pack — or sooner.

No affiliation, no endorsement

Funder names appear as descriptions of publicly stated priorities. No funder listed sponsors, endorses or reviews LOAM, and LOAM does not speak for any of them. Nothing here predicts whether a funder will support you.

No advice

LOAM offers no legal, financial, tax or fundraising advice, and no guarantee of results. It helps you assemble your own evidence; the judgement stays with you. See terms of use.

Money

LOAM is free, takes no commission, sells nothing, carries no advertising, and has no commercial relationship with any funder. Voluntary support goes to the team's time and costs, and buys no influence over what appears in the pack.

Open source and licence

The code lives in a public repository under the GNU Affero General Public License v3 (AGPL-3.0-or-later), recorded in the LICENSE file. LOAM is free to use, always. Anyone may study, change and share it, and anyone who distributes a changed version — or runs one as a service — must publish their source under the same licence, so LOAM cannot be turned into closed software.

Forks must credit LOAM and its author, must not use the LOAM name as their own, and are the responsibility of whoever publishes them. The NOTICE file in the repository says this in full.

Accessibility

LOAM aims to be fully usable by keyboard and with a screen reader, with adjustable text size and respect for reduced-motion settings. If something gets in your way, please say so — it will be treated as a bug, not a request.
