By using LOAM you agree to what's below. It is written to be read, not to be impressive.
What LOAM is, and isn't
LOAM is a free, open source tool that helps you find evidence you already hold and see where you're thin. It does not write proposals or reports, and it never generates narrative for you. The argument and the writing are yours.
Provided as-is
LOAM is offered free of charge, with no warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. It may contain mistakes and may be unavailable. To the fullest extent the law allows, Suman Saurav is not liable for any loss arising from your use of it, including a grant not won, a deadline missed, or data lost from your own device. Because your data is stored only on your device, keeping a copy is your responsibility — export a file or use the folder option.
The funder pack
The funder pack contains public information, gathered in good faith, with a source link and a date on everything. It is a snapshot, curated monthly, and it can be incomplete or out of date. Always check the source link before you rely on something, and never treat the pack as advice about what a funder will do. LOAM is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or speaking for any funder named in it.
Not professional advice
Nothing in LOAM is legal, financial or fundraising advice. What you send to a funder, and what you claim in it, is your organisation's responsibility.
Reasonable use
- Don't use LOAM to break the law or to harm anyone.
- Don't scrape or hammer the funder pack; it's a static file, please be kind to it.
- Don't misrepresent LOAM as your own product or imply that it endorses you.
- Please respect the people in your stories: get their consent before you write them down.
Licence and the code
The code is public and open source; the licence is currently AGPL-3.0-or-later and will be confirmed in the repository's LICENSE file. Whatever it is, you may read, run, fork and improve LOAM under it.
Access and the update email
Access is free. The monthly update email is a condition of access; the intelligence email is optional and you may unsubscribe from it at any time. See privacy. Access may be withdrawn if you abuse the terms above.
Changes and contact
These terms may change; material changes will be mentioned in the monthly email. Questions go to suman@commsforacause.org. Indian law governs these terms, without limiting rights you hold where you live.
