Global Fund for Women

Global Fund for Women is a feminist funder that supports grassroots organizations, initiatives, and movements working for gender justice around the world. Founded in 1987, the funder provides flexible, trust-based, unrestricted, and multi-year funding to groups closest to the issues they address, prioritizing organizations facing intersecting forms of oppression, unregistered groups, and those in restrictive environments. Its core funding priorities include crisis response, climate justice, freedom from gender-based violence, and sexual and reproductive health and rights. It centers community-driven solutions, sustained resilience, collective power, and systems change.
