Digital Freedom Fund

The Digital Freedom Fund (DFF) is a non-profit organisation that supports the digital rights community to advance human rights in digital spaces through strategic litigation. DFF provides financial support for litigation, pre-litigation research, and post-litigation activities to activists, NGOs, and litigators. The funder prioritises strategic cases that aim to achieve wider legislative, policy, or societal change beyond the immediate parties. Thematic priorities include platform accountability, digital democracy, spyware, artificial intelligence, and combating digital discrimination against marginalised groups. DFF emphasises intersectional, anti-oppressive, and decolonial practices, having recently transitioned to a distributed leadership model.
